Salon Services Policy

At Da Silva Hair and Beauty Parlour LTD, trading as Da Silva Hair and Beauty, we are committed to providing our clients with safe, professional, and high-quality services. To ensure the best experience and outcomes, we ask that all clients review and adhere to the following treatment policies:


1. Consultation and Patch Testing:

  • For your safety and comfort, all clients are strongly advised to book a patch test at least 48 hours prior to undergoing any chemical treatments (including but not limited to hair colouring, bleaching, perming, or straightening treatments).

  • Patch tests are quick, free of charge, and essential for identifying any potential allergic reactions or sensitivities to products.

  • Failure to attend a patch test may result in the treatment being refused or rescheduled.
    Depending on the circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment entirely in order to protect the health and safety of the client and prevent any inconvenience to both parties. In such cases, any deposit made will be retained.

  • Alternatively, clients who choose to proceed without a patch test must sign a waiver accepting full responsibility for any adverse reactions or outcomes that may occur as a result of the treatment.

 

2. Booking and Cancellations

  • We recommend booking treatments in advance to secure your preferred time and stylist.

  • A deposit is required for all services, regardless of the treatment type or duration.

  • If you book over the phone, a secure payment link from our booking platforms will be sent to you in order to confirm your appointment. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Clients booking deal or promotional treatments must be aware that these services can only be rescheduled for dates when the deal is active. Rescheduling outside of the promotional period may require payment of the full price

 

3. Prices

  • All prices listed on our website, social media, or any other platforms represent starting prices.

  • Final prices for hair services may vary depending on the length (short, medium, long) and quantity or density of the hair, as some clients may have short hair but a large volume of it.

  • Any price given over the phone or online is an estimation. A final and accurate quote can only be provided by a professional after a personal consultation and assessment of the hair in person.

  • All promotions and discounts apply to the full standard price unless otherwise specified.

  • Services with a fixed price will be clearly stated as such.

 

 

4. Health and Medical Conditions

  • Please inform your stylist of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent procedures that may affect your treatment.

  • We reserve the right to decline or modify treatments in the interest of client safety.
     

 

5. Courtesy to Others

  • We wish for your time at Da Silva Hair and Beauty to be as relaxing as possible. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all our guests, we kindly ask that you:

  • Arrive on time for your appointment.

  • Set your mobile phone to silent and use headphones if you wish to listen to audio or take calls.

  • Attend your appointment alone, as we do not have enough seating facilities for anyone without an appointment.

 

6. Children’s Service Restrictions

  • We do not carry out any treatments on children under the age of 17.

  • Treatments may be carried out on clients aged 17 and under only with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  • A parent or responsible adult (e.g. carer) must be present during the entire appointment for any client under 17.
